I have mentioned before that one of Madelyn's favorite toys is her wooden train set she got from my parents for Christmas. However, what I failed to mention is that Daddy loves this train set almost as much as Maddie. In fact, he even had me buy a second set from Ikea (in addition to another set we picked up from Goodwill) so he could build creative and elaborate routes for Maddie to play with. Most evenings, you will find ALL of us on the floor playing with these wooden tracks; Mommy and Daddy building while Madelyn lines up the trains. It may seem silly, but I'm thankful we have a fun family tradition like this.
