While we were home over the weekend, a good friend of mine gave me two good books to read. The first one was called "This Side of Heaven" by Karen Kingsbury and the second is the one pictured above ("and the Shofar Blew" by Francine Rivers.) I read the first one over the weekend and started the second one yesterday. Both were good books and I loved both for various reasons. I am thankful for good friends who make good book recommendations!
