Lately Maddie has been getting up from her afternoon nap between 3:30-4pm. We then have a small snack and then head outside to wait for Daddy. Today as we were playing out front, we got to watch a marching band practicing at the middle school at the end of our street. She loved imitating the drummers. After they left, she enjoyed playing in the dirt and rocks, all the while checking to see if Daddy was coming yet. Finally he arrived and once he was parked, she raced down the drive to great him. I love seeing the joy on her face every time Daddy gets home from work!
